Transcend is looking for an Account Manager France(operating from Rotterdam)

As an Account Manager at Transcend you will be part of an international, multicultural team and working in an organization that is a global leader in its branch.

We are looking for an Account Manager who is able to take responsibility for the French market from our office based in Rotterdam.

You will be a member of the French sales team and report to the Sales Manager. As an Account Manager you will visit (potential) customers and trade shows regularly. We expect from our employees to think out of the box and keep our share in the market grow.

Tasks and responsibilities:
• Target prospective customers and strengthen existing business relationships, build strategic alliances with key customers;
• Collect new product information and analyze market trends;
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of Transcend’s product portfolio and competitive posture of the company;
• keep up-to-date with industry knowledge and price trends;
• Confirm prices to customers and update pricelists;
• Quote tailored proposals for special projects;
• Responsible for the daily orders and the follow up of back orders;
• Work cross functionally with marketing, technical support and other departments to provide customer service, including customized product, supply chain/logistics, service support and reverse logistics (RMA);
• Manage profit and loss and account receivables;
• 30% travel required to existing and potential customers;
• Participate in international trade shows;
• Report weekly/ monthly activities to the sales manager.

Profile:
• Minimum of 1 - 2 years experience in sales;
• Customer focused and relationship builder;
• Commercially driven personality;
• Organized and pro-active;
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team in a dynamic technical sales environment;
• Good MS office skills, especially Excel and Power Point;
• Native French speaker and good knowledge of English (spoken and written);
• Bachelor/Master degree.

We are looking for a Sales Assistant who is able to assist the French sales team in Rotterdam. The sales Assistant position is an excellent start to an interesting career in sales.

Tasks and responsibilities:
- Preparing pricelists;
- Preparing monthly presentations;
- Answering the inquiries of end-users;
- Translation and document preparation;
- Coordinate with customers daily inquiry;
- Follow up overdue account receivable and inform account manager;
- Follow up RMA process (reverse logistics)/ shipments;
- Back up account manager when they are on business trip;
- Handling open sales orders and accounts receivables-tracing.

Profile
- Team player;
- Organized and pro-active;
- Native speaker French;
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written);
- Customer focused, commercial and communicative;
- Bachelor level (Business administration or similar);
- Good MS office skills especially good knowledge of Excel and Power Point.
